Why is exterior painting different in Arizona?

Without proper preparation and climate-rated materials, paint can blister, bubble, crack, fade or fail prematurely. Our process is designed specifically for the Southwest desert conditions to protect your home long term.
Can exterior painting be done during the Summer?
Yes. We schedule work strategically—focusing on cooler times of day and proper surface temperatures—to ensure safe application and correct curing, even during peak summer months.
Will painting help protect my home during monsoon season?
Absolutely. Properly sealed and painted surfaces help prevent moisture intrusion, reduce erosion, and protect both stucco and wood from water-related damage.
Do you help select colors?
Yes. We offer a FREE In-Home Color Consultation with any painting project.
Do you work with HOA requirements?
Yes. We assist with color approvals and all paperwork to ensure all the work complies with HOA guidelines when required.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. We offer FREE, No-Obligation Estimates and clear recommendations so you can make a confident, informed decision for your home.
How long will the initial estimate process take?
Most of our estimates are completed in 60 to 90 minutes or so. We do provide a full exterior inspection process and in most cases we can leave you with a detailed estimate the same day.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer No Interest plans… as well as traditional financing with competitive interest rates.
Do you repair stucco before painting?
Yes—always. Painting over damaged stucco shortens the life of the finish. We repair cracks, damaged areas, and weak spots before painting to ensure a smooth, durable result and better protection during monsoon season.
Can you change outdated rough textured stucco to a modern smooth finish?
Yes. We have a system where we can leave your old outdated texture in place and go right over it and transform it to a modern smooth finish. Most jobs can be completed in a week or two.
Are stucco cracks normal?
Sometimes, to know the level of severity you should have a full inspection done. However, small hairline cracks can be common due to heat expansion and soil movement. Larger or spreading cracks should be repaired promptly to prevent water intrusion and structural issues.
How do you protect wood siding and trim?
The dry desert air can cause wood to crack and split. We repair or replace damaged areas as needed, apply proper primers, and use flexible exterior patches that protect while allowing natural movement.
Do you replace fascia boards and patio posts?
Yes. Any rotted or damaged wood on the house would be replaced before any painting process could begin.
What kind of siding do you offer?
We have three different types of exterior siding: T1-11 Wood Siding, LP Smartside and James Hardie Fiber Cement.
How long does an exterior project take?
Most projects are completed in 1 to 3 weeks, depending on home size, surface condition, and repair – replace needs. You’ll receive a clear timeline before work begins. Generally, it’s one week for repair and replace and one week for repaint.
Do you offer warranties on your paint systems?
Yes. We stand behind our workmanship and materials. We have a Good – Better – Best approach to our paint systems. We offer a 5yr, 10yr and Lifetime Warranty. You pick what best fits your needs.
